Yayesaw’s Story
Yayesaw came to our recent programme in Gamby General Hospital in March. Coming with both of his parents, four-year-old Yayesaw had previously visited our programme in November in order to treat his cleft lip. Having had his cleft lip treated, his parents sought to have his cleft palate corrected this time around.
“We received good service from Project Harar, including the beautiful treatment done during his previous cleft lip surgery which made his lip like new. The previous comments he received from the community have already stopped.”

“After receiving treatment for his cleft conditions, we felt able to participate in social life again, we have started going to church with no fear. Previously we weren’t going to community gatherings with Yayesaw, now we can thanks to Project Harar. My son can now go to school and play with his friends without fear, previously his friends found him unsightly. Thank you again to Project Harar for all the work that they do.”
