Complex Surgical Programmes

Since Project Harar was founded in 2001, we have carried out multiple complex surgical programmes, and this year we are holding another. The last time we held a complex surgical programme was before COVID, so this is very exciting for us! This October, 2025, we will focus on providing surgery to young people across Ethiopia affected by Noma, a neglected tropical disease. A Volunteer UK Medical Team will fly out at the end of the year to work alongside an Ethiopian Medical Team on this programme.
