Run Africa’s Largest Road Race for Project Harar

What is it? 10k run in Addis Ababa.

When is it? Sunday 17th November, 2024.

Unable to go to Ethiopia? Run Remotely.

The 2024 Sofi Malt Great Ethiopian Run International 10k will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Sunday 17th November 2024.

The race is led by Ethiopia’s celebrated international runners and followed by over 45,000 other participants. The race attracts participants of all abilities from across the world. Haile Gebrselassie, Ethiopia’s most famous long distance runner, founded the race in 2001.

Your trip to Ethiopia will start on Thursday 14th of November where all runners will meet at Gatwick airport. Your trip will include minibus access, meals, as well as a visit to one of our programmes.

The run will take place on Sunday the 17th of November where you will receive your registration packs and running gear.

Return flights back to the UK will be on the evening of Monday the 18th of November.

To secure your place we require a non-refundable deposit of £200 to the charity by Wednesday 3rd April.
