We would like to thank everyone who attended our nurses pub quiz at the City Flogger on Friday 25^th January!  

The evening was in aid of our upcoming 2019 Complex Surgical Mission, where our wonderful NHS volunteer nurses were fundraising for the mission.

The evening kicked off with a short speech from Mimi St John-Austen, Project Harar’s Executive Director, followed by our most recent film which moved a number of people in the audience. The quiz then began - teams were rearing to go and competitively huddled to discuss answers, ensuring that their opponents did not hear a word.

It was a fun and vibrant night which ended with the winners being presented with a lovely bottle of Prosecco. The evening ended with a raffle, where there were a plethora of wonderful prizes to choose from. 

The success of the evening is reflected by the amount raised – over £1000! This will contribute to the nurses overall fundraising target of £21,000.
