Cleft Lip and Palate

We provide access to treatment for children and young adults with cleft lip and palate throughout the year in Ethiopia.

Surgical Missions

Once a year we treat 50 patients with the most complex facial conditions in Ethiopia.

Our Impact

Our 2018 Complex Surgical Mission

Our wonderful volunteer nurse Catherine Collins has spent eight weeks in Ethiopia during our 2018 Complex Surgical Mission. Here she writes about two of our patients with a condition known as tongue-tie.

Lives On Hold

During the world’s lockdown, we are unable to mobilise any babies or children from rural areas in Ethiopia, all of whom are waiting to receive treatment for Cleft Lip and Palate. After the Ethiopian lockdown lifts, we want to ensure these children can immediately access the treatment they most desperately need. We need your support so together we can ensure these journeys for treatment start again. Read more
