Project Harar works in the most disadvantaged and remote areas of Ethiopia, to provide access to treatment for infants and children affected cleft lip and palate and more complex facial disfigurements. These conditions impact child development and are the source of stigma and exclusion in rural communities. Geographical constraints and the cost of reaching the capital makes it impossible for the vast majority of families to reach treatment without our services. We break the hurdles in the way of families reaching treatment and provide practical, community specific solutions.
