Zahir's Story

"I am healed now and I am happy." Zahir fell ill with noma at just seven days old, and this video tells his inspirational story. We met him at the age of nine, and his initial treatment led to a huge improvement in his looks and facial function. However, there is still more to do. We are still in contact with him, and he will receive more treatment in future.

He's delighted with the improvement so far, and gives a real insight into the problems faced by the children we work with in Ethiopia. You can read more about him in our previous news post here.
