Catherine Collins, an NHS nurse who will be volunteering on the medical trip next month features in her regional newspaper this week. Catherine spoke about her excitement about Project Harar’s campaign, where she will be part of a 14 strong team of specialist medics treating around 50 patients with various complex facial disabilities.
It will be Catherine’s first time as part of Project Harar’s specialist medical team, but as an experienced Ward Sister caring for patients undergoing major head and neck surgery in London, Catherine will be able to share a wealth of knowledge with her counterparts in Ethiopia.
